We are located in central Texas, halfway between Austin and College Station off of Highway 21. Click HERE to contact us for directions. Our breeding program has been developed for improved confirmation and personality, with different Our donkeys are priced based on confirmation (pet quality or show quality), personality (charm), and color. All donkeys sold come with their own halter and lead, health records, and negative Coggins test.

Cripple Creek Ranch was first started in 1996 with Boer and Pymgy goats and Longhorn cattle. It is a family operation with sisters Cheryl and Pat and brother Eric. In 2005 Cheryl and Pat purchased our first miniature donkeys. It was very easy to fall in love with these little sweeties. As we grow our miniature donkey herd, we are concentrating on quality confirmation, a wide range of color, and sweet personalities. Eric is our ranch foreman and we still maintain a couple of Longhorns along with the minis.

We handle our babies starting with the day they are born. This helps to socialize them and makes it easier for them later when they learn about feet trimming, vaccinations, and halter training.
